  Operation

Overall, the system operates automatically -- the solar panel itself acts as a photocell. It senses a low light level at dusk, and turns the light on.  At dawn it senses an increasing light level, shutting the system off and re-charging the batteries.  These functions are regulated by the controller. There is no day to day maintenance or adjustment required. All of the controller settings are done at the factory.

Optional manual override switch installed on pole to allow lights to be turned off in the event of a dark exercise requirement. This manual switch can be mounted 4’-5’ above ground for easy on/off access.
